The Mount Washington Plein Aire Painters
| The Mount Washington Plein Aire Painters have been painting landscapes almost every Saturday since 2000. Current members include Diane Behrens, John Byram, Ann Dudrow, Wayne Hunt, Jose de Juan, Olivia G. Rodriguez, Kevin Spitze, Richard Willson, Donna Wolff and Chris Zambon. The artists represent a range of styles, painting in oil and watercolor. Formed at a 1999 New Year’s party, the group follows in the tradition of Mount Washington book clubs, musical collaborations, and salons. They’ve already covered much of Mount Washington, from San Rafael to Kite Hill and many places in between but continue to find great painting locations in the topographically and architecturally varied hills of Mount Washington and the hills of northeast Los Angeles. |
